...Crate close...

What a day!! We were evacuated today at work. I was standing in the back of the store when a police officer stormed in to the door looking for a manager. I was the first there and told him I could help. He told me I needed to lock the back doors and not to let anyone out. Haha. There was a "Package" outside. This happened a fews years ago. Here we go again. I locked the door and waited to see what happens next. Just a little bit latter the police came in and said we had to evacuate the store. We had about 400 people in the store and all of them had to leave. Some where waiting in line for 30 minutes. They were NOT happy. Be we forcefully had to escort them out. I was standing in the middle of the store yelling at everyone to move to the front of the store. One lady was not going to leave and we had to take her basket and the police came to walk her out. We stood outside the store.......... Waiting ......waiting.........waiting......... Finally I just left.......... What a day!!

LONE TREE, Colo. -- Two wrapped packages caused a partial evacuation and closure at a busy Park Meadows Mall on Friday afternoon.Shortly before 3 p.m., a person reported finding two gift-wrapped boxes with bows near the parking lot on the southeast side of the mall. Lone Tree police responded and closed off that part of the mall. Also, a nearby California Cafe restaurant and a Crate & Barrel store were closed. As a precaution, the Douglas County Sheriff department called in its bomb squad. The boxes were X-rayed and have been discovered to be empty and harmless. Officials are breaking up the scene and that section of the mall should reopen shortly.
